Our family's journey in construction began in 1958 when my grandfather, Jim Wearsch, was working at BF Goodrich. With a strong work ethic, skilled hands, and a dream of building something of his own, he founded Wearsch Builders. What started as one man's vision grew into a trusted construction company that proudly served families throughout Northern Ohio for more than four decades.
From 1958 through the early 2000s, my grandfather built more than homes and roofs—he built relationships, earned trust, and established a reputation for quality craftsmanship that our family has always been proud of.

As Jim Wearsch's granddaughter, I founded Marika Roof & Exteriors, a name that holds a special place in my heart. “Marika” is the nickname my family has called me since I was a little girl. Choosing that name was my way of honoring both my family's history and the next generation of our story.
While our name has changed, our values have not. We believe in honest work, quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and treating every customer's home as if it were our own. Our mission is simple: to continue the tradition my grandfather started decades ago—providing dependable roofing and exterior services with integrity, pride, and a commitment to excellence.
